These beautiful necklaces are made with real small shells that were carefully collected in my Uppland garden and then cast in resin.
The pendant itself is made of 24k gold-plated brass and has a diameter of 19 mm. It is both nickel and lead-free, making it hypoallergenic. The chain, which matches the pendant, is of high quality and plated with 24k gold or silver. It is durable and retains its beautiful shine over time.
All pendants come with a 45 cm long chain. Would you like a different length? Please contact me when ordering, and I will customize the chain to your wishes.
Resin is used as a protective material to encapsulate the various natural materials I use, which helps preserve and enhance the vibrant colors. I often say that resin works as an artificial code, where flowers and other natural materials are cast into a material that has a glass-like end result - glossy and hard.
